About Sikkim
Sikkim is a beautiful state of India. Capital is “Gangtok” located in the southern part of the state.
It is located in the Northeastern part of our country in eastern Himalayas.
It is one of the smallest state of India and it is bordered by three countries, by Tibet ( Autonomous Region of China), by Nepal, and by Bhutan.
Sikkim is of great political and strategic importance for India as it has many international boundries.
- Sikkim has a variety of climates types, from almost tropical condition in the south to serve mountain climates in the north.
- In Gangtok, temperature in January approx. 0 degree ( coldest month ) and August is the warmest approx. 28 degree.

Tsomgo Lake
Tsomgo Lake is 40km away from Gangtok. This beautiful glacier lake is one of the top tourist destinations of Sikkim.
Tsomgo means “Source of Water”. It is present on top of the hill which make Sikkim more beautiful.
